By entering, shopping at, or participating in any activity at Double Team Gaming you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These rules are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and welcoming environment for all customers, players, staff, and guests.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

  1. Right to Refuse Service
    Double Team Gaming reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any lawful reason, including but not limited to violation of store rules, disruptive behavior, safety concerns, or failure to comply with staff instructions.

  2. Age Requirements
    Minors must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise permitted by store staff. Parents/guardians are responsible for the behavior and safety of minors at all times. Minors 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult/ guardian to use the restroom facilities.

  3. Store Hours & Access
    Store hours are subject to change without notice. Customers must vacate the premises promptly at closing time. See Google for the most accurate hours. Or join our Facebook group for notifications on any unexpected closures.

  4. Surveillance & Safety
    The premises is being monitored by video and/or audio surveillance for safety, loss prevention, and liability purposes.

  5. Theft/Scammers etc. will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

1.1 Proper Hygiene Policy (TCG Players & Guests)

To maintain a clean, comfortable, and respectful environment:

  • Players must maintain basic personal hygiene, including:

    • Clean clothing

    • Reasonable body odor control

    • Clean hands and arms

     

  • Strong or disruptive odors (including body odor, excessive fragrance, smoke, or other smells) that negatively impact others are not permitted.

  • Players may be asked to leave temporarily or permanently if hygiene issues persist after being addressed by staff.

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Removal from events without refund

  • Temporary or permanent suspension from in-store play

2. Player Conduct & Sportsmanship

All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.

2.1 Expected Behavior

  • Treat all players, staff, and guests with respect

  • Follow official game rules and event rulings

  • Accept wins and losses gracefully

  • Follow staff and judge instructions immediately

2.2 Prohibited Behavior

  • Cheating, collusion, or rule manipulation

  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying

  • Excessive profanity or aggressive language

  • Throwing objects, damaging property, or disruptive conduct

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior such as rage-quitting, stalling, or intentional disruption

Violations may result in:

  • Match penalties or disqualification

  • Removal from the premises

  • Event bans or permanent store bans

3. Sexual Harassment & Zero-Tolerance Policy

Double Team Gaming maintains a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment or misconduct.

3.1 Definition of Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwelcome sexual comments, jokes, or gestures

  • Inappropriate touching or physical contact

  • Staring, leering, or invasive personal comments

  • Sexualized language, noises, or behavior

  • Repeated unwanted advances or attention

  • Any conduct that creates a hostile or uncomfortable environment

3.2 Enforcement

  • Any confirmed incident may result in immediate removal from the store

  • No warnings are required for serious violations

  • Offenders may be permanently banned

  • Law enforcement may be contacted when appropriate

Reports can be made directly to staff or management and will be taken seriously and handled discreetly.

4. Health, Safety, and Cleanliness

  • No illegal substances or alcohol permitted on premises

  • No smoking or vaping inside the store

  • Food and drinks may be restricted in play areas

  • Customers are responsible for cleaning up after themselves

  • Damage to store property or other players’ property must be compensated

5. Event Participation & Tournament Rules

  • Entry fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise

  • Late arrivals may be denied entry

  • Staff rulings are final

  • Prizes are subject to availability and substitution

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct may void prizes

​

6. Personal Property

Double Team Gaming is not responsible for:

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items

  • Trades or private transactions between customers

Trade safely and at your own risk.

7. Bans & Suspensions

Violations of these Terms may result in:

  • Verbal warnings

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent store ban

Bans apply to all store activities, including events and casual play.

8. Changes to Terms

Double Team Gaming reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the store constitutes acceptance of any changes.
